The W.I.S.H. Centre is a non-profit, community-focused recreation centre located at 177 King Street East in Chatham, Ontario. Established in 1996, the centre offers a welcoming environment with a range of recreational activities and support services for people of all ages, with a special focus on children and youth. Programming includes after-school programs, open gym time, Sunday youth recreational activities (such as pickleball and basketball), gaming rooms, and special events like movie nights and dances. The W.I.S.H. Centre also provides summer camps and PA Day programming, aiming to create a safe, inclusive space for youth who may not otherwise have access to organized sports or activities. With three indoor pickleball courts and wheelchair accessibility, the centre supports healthy living, social connection, and personal growth for all community members. All citizens of Chatham-Kent are welcome to participate in its programs, which are offered in both English and French.
